Review: Sweet Destiny

Sweet Destiny Sweet Destiny by Aliya DalRae
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sweet Destiny
She's done it again! Sweet Destiny is a great ending to a wonderful trilogy that I've enjoyed reading from beginning to end. The story weaves through Jessica Sweet's self-discovery, family revelations, and her life as a new. She begins a journey in the first book and comes full circle by the last page of the third book.

The characters along the way that touch Jessica's heart and help her on her journey are every bit as important as Jessica herself. She finds more help and love then one person can hope to have.

The last book puts to rest all questions asked throughout the series, but also answers some the readers wouldn't have known to ask.

Well done and highly recommended!

Review: Mindful Monsters

Mindful Monsters Mindful Monsters by Sylva Fae
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mindful Monsters
Another adorable monsters of the rainbow book. This read includes life lessons strategically placed within the text. Such a creative way to add in life's most important things.

Another nice touch is apparently the author held some sort of contest and added two new monsters that represented the winners. Loved this aspect and I'm sure made a child's day to be immortalized in a book! Very thoughtful.

Highly recommend this terrific book!

Rainbow Monsters: Meet The Rainbow Monsters
What an adorable story about monsters of the rainbow. These creatures are cute and fun! What a great read that can be enjoyed by all ages.

In the back of the book are some interactive games which was a nice added touch. Word search, a maze, spot things and other fun activities for a child or adult.

Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a fun read for them and their child.

Review: Fallocaust

Fallocaust Fallocaust by Quil Carter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fallocaust

I loved this book! I don't normally read Post-Apocalyptic, it just doesn't interest me, but this book came highly recommended, so I gave it a shot. And boy, am I ever glad I did... what a story.

The development of the entire plot was awesome, the pace just right and kept me hanging on each page to the point I couldn't put it down. Not many books do this to me, but this one did. I love Reaver, and knew he was special from the get go, but was still surprised in the end. Nice job, well done!

Can't wait to read the next one!

Review: Felix and the Prince

Felix and the Prince Felix and the Prince by Lucy Lennox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Felix and the Prince
Great story about unrequited love. How terrible would it be to not be with the one you love? Terrible, that's for sure.

This story drew me right in and kept me turning the pages. It's only now I realize its part of a series, so now I'm off to read the rest.

Great Job!

Review: The Innocent Auction

The Innocent Auction The Innocent Auction by Victoria Sue
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Innocent Auction
What a story! Heartbreaking at times, happy at other times. This had it all and I loved it from start to finish. Bring the tissues, you'll need them.

The author paints a picture of the slums of London 1810, which brings the reader right into the time and place. All characters are interesting and well developed. I really felt the emotions from each character.

I'll definitely be moving onto book 2!

Review: His Personal Assistant

His Personal Assistant His Personal Assistant by L.J. Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

His Personal Assistant
This was a great story about a miserable, moody, older guy who falls for his younger, energetic, personal assistant.

I rather enjoyed the story, but it was a tad predictable. I don't think Kade should have accepted Luke so easily. Other than that, the story was well written and easy to enjoy!

Well done!

Review: Hard For My Boss

Hard For My Boss Hard For My Boss by Daryl Banner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hard For My Boss
A fun, care free story which was slightly predictable, but the humor made up for some of that.

The two main characters were quite well developed, just a tad too on point. I'm quite certain Ben wouldn't act the way he did, so it didn't ring true for me.

Overall, the story moved along quickly and was a fun read!

Review: Captive Prince

Captive Prince Captive Prince by C.S. Pacat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Captive Prince
I started this book many times, but couldn't quite get into it. It came highly recommended, so I gave it a last chance. Finally, I made it through the entire story.

It was slow going, too much detail distracted from the story, but I did enjoy some parts of it. I know others adore this story, it's just not for me and won't continue with the series.

Such a cute adorable story, but made me hungry every time he would bake stuff. LOL

Great story, really enjoyed the dynamic between the two main characters and the story was well developed keeping me turning the pages. Nice job!
